Back in January of 2010, my boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our one-year anniversary at Bacalao in St. John’s. I had been there once previously for a work Christmas party and could not wait to share the wonderful menu with Josh. Besides it being a very special occasion for us, the night was made even more amazing with the wonderful service we received from the staff. The menu specials were delicious (pan seared scallops as well as duck) and we were completely blown away with the dessert: cardamom flourless chocolate cake! Andrea paired both of our meals with great wine, and we were even sent home with two free dessert coupons for our next visit and some reusable shopping bags. We have raved about our experience to all of our friends ever since!
Our visit to Bacalao at the Clarenville Inn today was wonderful as well. Although undergoing renovations the atmosphere was still very relaxing and service was again excellent. It was our first time trying the lunch menu and we were just as satisfied with it as we were when we shared our first visit back in January.
We will most definitely be back again – Keep up the amazing work!!!
